About Leyenda Global Produce Division
Our Story
Leyenda Global is a U.S.-based wholesale fresh produce distributor serving retail, foodservice, and export customers. Our roots trace back more than 35 years to a family-owned vegetable farming operation in Homestead, Florida, with additional farming operations in Immokalee and Felda.
Over the years, our family has successfully cultivated more than 20 varieties of fresh produce throughout South Florida. As customer demand expanded beyond the crops that can be grown reliably in the region, we broadened our sourcing network to ensure a consistent, year-round supply.
Today, Leyenda Global primarily sources fresh produce from growers in South Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. To complement our domestic supply, we maintain long-standing relationships with trusted international growers in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia for select commodities that are either better suited to those growing regions or not commercially available from U.S. producers in sufficient quality, quantity, or seasonal availability. While our sourcing network extends internationally, all of Leyenda Global's operations, sales, distribution, and customer support are based in the United States.
