Leyenda Global was built from the ground up — beginning with tomatoes.

More than 35 years ago, our family started farming in South Florida with a simple mission: grow quality produce the right way and build lasting relationships through hard work, honesty, and consistency. What began with growing round tomatoes in the fields of South Florida evolved into a multi-generational agricultural business built on hard work, dependable supply, and a commitment to feeding communities with fresh produce.

Over the years, we expanded beyond tomatoes, growing crops that reflect the needs of the markets we serve. As demand grew, so did our vision. Seven years ago, we expanded into produce distribution, allowing us to move product directly from farms to stores and restaurants with greater speed, freshness, and quality control.

Today, Leyenda Global combines nearly four decades of farming experience with a modern distribution operation built to serve retailers, wholesalers, and foodservice partners across the region. Our roots as growers give us a unique understanding of the produce business — from planting and harvesting to logistics, merchandising, and customer service.

We believe great produce starts in the field, but long-term partnerships are built through reliability, communication, and trust. Every shipment we deliver represents generations of agricultural knowledge and a commitment to supplying fresh, high-quality produce year-round.
